Sheri Kaiserman

Managing Director, Head of Advanced Securities at Wedbush Securities

 

Sheri Kaiserman is Managing Director, Head of Advanced Securities at Wedbush Securities, a role created for her to build a new division for the firm focused on products and services related to private companies as well as the bitcoin/blockchain ecosystem.  Mrs. Kaiserman joined Wedbush in August 1999, as Director of Equity Sales and played a leading role in the establishment, innovation and extended rapid growth of the firm’s equities business.  Until 2015, Kaiserman led over 140 professionals as Head of Equities, managing all of equity research, sales, and trading, and created the Specialty Retail Specialist Group, Private Company Strategies Group and the Digital Contract Technology Group.

 

Kaiserman has over 28 years of experience in capital markets with a unique broad understanding of the coming disruptive and transformative aspects of bitcoin/blockchain technology.  She was awarded the “Achievement in Innovation Award” from Markets Media’s Markets Choice Awards: Women in Finance in November 2016; the “Excellence in Leadership” award from Trader Magazine in 2012; was a top 10 finalist “Executive of the Year” nominee at the 2010 Los Angeles Business Journal sponsored event, “Women Making a Difference”; and has been a guest on CNBC’s Squawk on the Street.

 

Mrs. Kaiserman has a BA in History from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Raised in the Bronx, New York, she moved to California in 1989. Mrs. Kaiserman currently lives in Cheviot Hills, California with her husband and 3 children. She had been actively involved in coaching her children’s youth sports teams. She served for 7 years as a board member for Friends of Palms, the primary parent fundraising organization for Palms Middle School, is a leader for community outreach for Hamilton High School and serves as a national judge for InvestWrite, a national writing competition sponsored by the SIFMA Foundation for students in 4th through 12th grade.  She is also a member of the advisory board of a startup healthcare technology company, 4C Health Solutions, since Jan 2016.
